Travel with me + Video | TEXEL

It’s 7:00 AM and my best friend and I are already on our way, enjoying the sunrise while a cold morning breeze flows through the windows of the car. Slowly waking up from our daydreams and watching how other drivers are yawning behind the wheel. One day, only one day to create the perfect local road trip. Here we go!

We drove to Texel, a dutch island and started of at a fruit farm where we stocked up on strawberries and blackberries. After changing into our bikini’s in the back of the car we headed to the beach, and after a long walk caught our breaths while soaking up the sunshine and having a popcorn fight. Swimming in ice cold water and talking about everything that popped our minds. We drove to the tip of the island to take a look at the lighthouse, walked for a bit and headed to dinner. Time past quickly while enjoying the sights of the beach and before we knew we were eating ice cream while watching the rain pour down. But once we got to the car again, a small sun peeked through the clouds and accompanied us on our way back to the harbour. While jamming to loud music our home destination got closer and closer. And within a blink of an eye, this amazing day had passed.

A roadtrip in one day, so many laughs, so many songs and so many memories made in such a short period of time. Check out the short cinematic video I made to get a better impression of our trip and let me know what you thing!
